Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviews and enforces disciplinary measures against Party organizations and Party members

On October 6, the Inspection Commission of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held its 16th session. Comrade Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission chaired the session. Attending the session was Comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission.

At this meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed and concluded a number of contents:

1. Consider and discipline comrade Vo Tien Sy - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Dan District. The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission finds that: Comrade Vo Tien Sy bears the responsibility of the leader, allowing a number of cadres under his management to degrade in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, violate Party regulations, State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, violate what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, and violate regulations in state management of land. Based on Party regulations, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has voted to discipline comrade Vo Tien Sy with the form of Reprimand.

2. Considering the responsibility of comrade Vo Duy Viet - former member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, former Party Secretary, former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment according to the Conclusion of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in Notice No. 374-TB/TU, dated September 27, 2021; The Provincial Party Inspection Commission found that: In his capacity as Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, comrade Vo Duy Viet bears the responsibility of the head for the shortcomings and violations of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in mineral management and the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws on planning, licensing, and mineral exploitation in the period 2017 - 2020.

Based on Party regulations, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requests the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to consider and handle according to its authority.

3. Also at this session, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed and decided on a number of other matters within its authority.
