Southern provinces' electricity is on duty 24/7 to ensure power supply on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary and the April 30-May 1 holiday.

EVNSPC and its member units have prepared plans to ensure safe and stable power supply; strengthen operational discipline to ensure security, safety and fire prevention during holidays and serve political, cultural and social events organized by localities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day and International Labor Day 1.5.

EVNSPC does not carry out any work of stopping or reducing power supply during the holidays.

EVNSPC and its member units organize leadership, operation, electrical repair, ensure SCADA system operation, ensure stable and continuous 24/7 computer network and communication systems during holidays.

The Corporation requires Power Companies to inspect and strengthen the power grid to ensure safe, continuous and reliable power supply for electricity customers and locations of political, cultural and artistic activities during the holidays, and pay attention to ensuring power for factories and businesses producing clean water and irrigation to combat drought and salinity.

EVNSPC pays special attention to the task of ensuring electricity for important locations in the management and power supply areas such as: headquarters of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, national defense, security, leadership agencies in provinces/cities, radio and television agencies at the central and local levels, hospitals, and clean water production facilities.

At the same time, fully prepare materials, equipment, communication systems and means of transportation, and be ready to quickly handle any problems that arise.

Actively promote and widely disseminate measures for safe electricity use.

Coordinate with local authorities, police and army to develop and implement plans to protect security, order, safety and fire prevention for electrical works, agency headquarters, warehouses, camps, etc.

In recent times, Power Companies in 21 southern provinces and cities have actively coordinated with local authorities and mass media agencies to disseminate and popularize safe and economical electricity usage measures to electricity customers; to propagate and prevent and strictly handle cases of shooting metal-coated paper fireworks, flying kites and throwing objects onto power lines, violating the safety corridor of the power grid, etc.
