Hue City leaders presented flowers to congratulate the 4th Women Scientists Conference in 2025 |
Attending the conference, on the side of Hue city leaders were Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai - Member of the City Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and representatives of comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, City Party Committee members, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the city; on the side of the Vietnam Women's Union, there was Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong - Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; leaders of the Vietnam Women's Intellectuals Association, the Hue City Women's Intellectuals Association and more than 200 delegates who are scientists, experts, and female intellectuals from provinces and cities across the country.
The Organizing Committee selected 46 high-quality scientific reports from scientists, experts, and female intellectuals across the country, especially in the Central Highlands region, to present and discuss focusing on two main topics: "Current situation and solutions for health care for women in the Central Highlands region" and "Environmental protection and climate change - Current situation and solutions".
The highlight of this conference is the emphasis on the connection between science and technology, innovation, environmental protection and healthcare in the context of national digital transformation. The conference is not only a place to exchange and share knowledge and experience but also a space to affirm the important role of Vietnamese female intellectuals in contributing to the development of the country.

Speaking at the conference, Prof. Dr. Le Thi Hop - President of the Vietnam Association of Women Intellectuals said that this is a forum for female scientists to exchange information, experience, introduce scientific and technological products to enhance the application of scientific and technological results into practice. The activity is also an important event contributing to the realization of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation and national digital transformation; creating motivation for female scientists to further improve innovation, research efficiency, and application of science and technology to serve social life and sustainable development.
In addition to presenting and discussing scientific reports, the conference also organized an exhibition of scientific and technological products of female intellectuals and field trips to the Central Que Lam Group with a model of biotechnology, circular and organic agriculture; the 4F Phong Thu Ecological Economic Organic Agriculture Complex through a model of sustainable agriculture, protecting natural resources, on an area of 15 hectares with an investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND. This is a complex not only for production and business but also a place for experimental scientific research, training and fostering for managers, farmers, cooperatives and enterprises; a place to visit, study and experience to raise awareness for farmers and the consumer community.

Within the framework of the program, female intellectuals and scientists also visited Hue Central Hospital - Vietnam's leading high-tech medical center, with many typical models, good practices and many innovations in applying technology in community health care.
The Vietnam Association of Intellectual Women was established on March 8, 2011. After 14 years of operation, the Association has gathered and attracted nearly 6,000 members in 12 provinces/cities and 31 research institutes, universities, government agencies, state-owned and private enterprises. This conference is a continuation of the success of the conferences held in 2019 with the theme: "Intellectual Women with Science and Technology for Sustainable Development"; in 2020: "Intellectual Women with Scientific Research to Serve Socio-Economic Development"; in 2023: "Application of Science and Technology to Life, Society and Community Health Care".
