The introduced hybrid missile drone (UAV) model has a speed of up to 700 km/h and a flight range of 700 km, far surpassing missiles provided by the West.
The missile-hybrid UAV model made public by Ukraine on December 6
On December 6, Ukraine introduced a new domestically produced hybrid missile unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that can fly 700 km, more than double the maximum range of missiles provided by Western partners.
The new weapon is called Peklo, which means “hell” in Ukrainian. It is the second missile UAV model unveiled by Ukraine, as the country tries to increase its ability to strike deep into Russia, according to Reuters.

At the official handover ceremony to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a representative of the state-owned arms manufacturer Ukroboronprom (Ukraine) said that this weapon can reach speeds of up to 700 km/h.
No other details have been provided, nor is there any evidence of the missile UAV’s range or speed. Kyiv has released few details about its arms industry, citing concerns about providing useful information to Moscow.

President Zelensky with new weapons
A Ukrainian arms production official said last month that missile UAVs could be similar to cruise missiles, flying low along a pre-set path to reach their targets, often at subsonic speeds.
These new missile UAVs are just over a meter long, have small wings on the sides and two tail fins. The US-supplied ATACMS missile has a declared range of just over 300 kilometers.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attended the handover ceremony. Last month, he said Ukraine was developing four different types of missiles. However, Ukrainian officials have acknowledged that the missile program remains hampered by global supply chain issues.
