The socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year remained stable, with some sectors showing positive changes; the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the first 6 months of 2024 is estimated at VND 12,794 billion, up 8.07% over the same period (ranking 14/63 provinces and cities nationwide and 3/14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions). The trade, tourism, energy, and manufacturing and processing industries grew quite well; the agricultural and rural economy maintained stable growth; some manufacturing and processing industrial products are recovering, the consumption market is better, and new production capacity is being effectively promoted. The province also successfully organized the Conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and investment promotion, creating a spillover effect that attracted the attention of many investors; budget revenue was quite good, state management of land, minerals, and environmental protection was strengthened; Land bottlenecks have been gradually removed; key projects and driving forces have been focused on accelerating progress; the investment and business environment has been significantly improved. Social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented; care for policy beneficiaries and poor households has been better implemented. Military and national defense work has been ensured, military service has been safely transferred, and targets have been met; the practice of thrift and waste prevention has been focused on and implemented according to the set plan.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of departments, branches and local units in implementing the socio-economic development tasks in the past time. At the same time, he emphasized that in order to strive to achieve the GRDP growth target of 11-12% by the end of the year, along with implementing the Government's motto, he requested departments, branches and localities to continue to closely follow and resolutely and effectively implement the goals, tasks, solutions and plans for 2024. Continue to further promote and effectively implement 3 breakthroughs and 6 key sectors and fields, prioritizing growth promotion. Based on the analysis of growth in the first 6 months of the year, it is expected that in the last 6 months of 2024, the following sectors need to strive: Agriculture, forestry and fishery in the last 6 months of the year will increase by 3.4%; industry and construction will increase by 24.1%; service industry will increase by 11.71%; product tax will increase by 11.83% to ensure overall growth contribution to the province's GRDP of the year.

Strengthen discipline and administrative discipline, promote the responsibility of leaders.
