Provincial People's Committee listens to investment research report on social housing projects

On the morning of April 4, Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung chaired a meeting to listen to investment research reports on 5 social housing projects and address a number of proposals from investors. The meeting was attended by Vice Chairmen and Standing members of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Based on legal information and project progress up to now, the research team proposes that the province allow adjustment of the 1/500 detailed planning to supplement land fund for social housing construction for social housing projects in the land fund of existing projects. At the same time, approve the standard floor construction height to promote project implementation procedures.

For new locations introduced by the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province, the research team proposed allowing Duc Phu An Cu Joint Stock Company to represent as the investor to propose investment projects to build social housing in Area 1 and Area 2...

Particularly, the NOXH project at the mushroom breeding farm (belonging to the Ngan Cau Villa urban area project) proposes to approve the addition of the social housing project on this land to the list of social housing development investment projects in Dien Ban town. Consider and agree on the policy of applying the regulations in the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development, especially the regulations on assigning the investor of the social housing project without going through bidding to select investors, to assign the Investor of the Ngan Cau Villa urban area project to directly invest in the construction of NOXH at this location...

Based on the opinions at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung agreed in principle, and assigned relevant departments and localities to actively consider and support the research team's proposal, and carry out the procedural steps in accordance with the law...
