The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to review the progress of implementing projects of industrial parks and clusters established in the province - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the afternoon of April 14, comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to review and evaluate the implementation of the investment project to build and operate the infrastructure of VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park and industrial clusters (ICs) that have been established in the province.

According to the report at the meeting, the province currently has 10 industrial clusters established with a total area of ​​about 418 hectares. Of which, local industrial cluster No. 2, Cao Loc district (area of ​​8.5 hectares) is operating; 6 industrial clusters are in the process of implementing legal procedures to invest in building technical infrastructure and 3 industrial clusters have started construction and are investing in building technical infrastructure.

In addition, the province is currently implementing the project of investing in the construction and business of infrastructure of VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park (Huu Lung district). Up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has allocated and leased land to investors with a total area of ​​76.73 hectares, reaching 38.37% of phase 1 and 12.79% of the total project area.

Regarding site clearance, up to now, the project has completed 100% of the measurement and counting of phase 1; approved the compensation and support plan of 558.4 billion VND for 898 cases; completed site clearance of 188.6 ha/200 ha, reaching 94.3% of the phase area...

At the meeting, representatives of investors in industrial zones and clusters reported specifically on the progress and difficulties in the project implementation process and made a number of proposals and recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee to remove obstacles to speed up the project progress, focusing on a number of contents such as: promoting administrative procedure reform; speeding up site clearance for projects; urgently moving 110kV power lines; implementing traffic connection roads connecting the project...

At the meeting, leaders of relevant departments and branches reported and clarified the contents, responsibilities and progress of resolving issues under their authority that investors in industrial parks and clusters were interested in and requested; representatives of the People's Committees of districts reported and clarified the situation and progress of implementing projects in industrial parks and clusters in the management area, and plans to remove obstacles in terms of land so that investors can continue implementing the projects.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: For the VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park infrastructure investment and business project, the People's Committee of Huu Lung district should focus on propagating the relocation of graves, speeding up the clearance of the cemetery area, and urgently arranging resettlement for affected households; the Department of Agriculture and Environment should promptly complete the determination of specific land prices to facilitate investors in building land prices for business purposes; promptly make decisions on leasing land to investors; the Department of Finance should promptly review and advise the Provincial People's Committee on the policy of exempting land use fees for investors, to be completed before April 20; the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board should promptly resolve procedures for adjusting investment registration (to be completed before April 20)...

For Bac Son 2 Industrial Park: The Department of Agriculture and Environment urgently handles procedures for granting mineral exploitation licenses to investors; the Department of Construction promptly adjusts the planning when investors complete their documents according to regulations; at Dinh Lap Industrial Park: The Department of Construction promptly appraises the plan to move the 110kV power line (to be completed before May 15).

At Ho Son 1 Industrial Park, the Department of Agriculture and Environment urgently considers land allocation in stages if conditions are met; at Hoa Son 1 Industrial Park, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is interested in supporting investors to complete environmental impact assessment procedures and necessary procedures to ensure conditions for construction commencement (completed before April 20); at Na Duong 1, 2, 3 Industrial Parks, the People's Committee of Loc Binh district urgently approves the detailed planning 1/500; at Hop Thanh 1, 2 Industrial Parks, the People's Committee of Cao Loc district and investors are interested in directing implementation to ensure progress...

He also requested that the assigned departments and branches monitor and urge the projects and, according to the functions and tasks of the unit, continue to proactively monitor, urge and guide investors to implement the projects, promptly answer and remove difficulties and obstacles and resolutely handle or propose handling according to regulations for projects behind schedule.
