On the morning of September 20, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to progress reports on a number of key projects. Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, districts and cities.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates heard reports on the progress of the implementation of the following projects: Residential housing development project in Dong Hoa commune and new urban housing development project in Tan Binh commune and Tien Phong ward; LNG thermal power plant project; planning for the construction of high-end commercial service urban area Con Vanh - Con Thu, Con Vanh golf course; investment project for construction and business of infrastructure of VSIP Thai Binh industrial park; Provincial General Hospital project in the medical center area; investment project for construction of Thai Binh Provincial Museum; Tra Ly riverside urban area project in Le Hong Phong ward and Bo Xuyen ward.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

The leader of the Department of Finance spoke at the meeting.

Leaders of Thai Binh city reported on the progress of implementing key projects in the city.

After listening to the delegates discuss and contribute their opinions on the contents and concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized the significance and importance of key projects and works and acknowledged the results achieved in the month in each specific project.

However, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that the progress of some key projects had not met the set plan and pointed out some shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of the projects. He assigned the relevant departments and branches to issue regulations on compensation and resettlement support; regulations on unit prices for supporting construction works and housing assets; support for crops and livestock. Speed up the progress of synchronously adjusting the planning of Thai Binh Economic Zone; promote the progress of approving investment policies for some projects. Departments and branches need to proactively follow and grasp the central ministries and branches to promptly resolve newly arising problems and difficulties. Focus on site clearance, closely follow the critical path of project implementation progress; agree on the timeline, process, and procedures for starting construction of some key projects in the coming time.

He also directed some specific contents for each project and requested relevant departments, branches and localities to make more efforts to speed up the implementation of projects according to the set plan.
