The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to reports on the implementation of land valuation plans, land use fee collection results and land resource mobilisation.

According to a report by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TN&MT), following the issuance of Plan No. 2151/KH-UBND dated May 17, 2024, by the Provincial People's Committee on the specific land valuation for 2024 in Ninh Thuan province, the Department of TN&MT and related units selected consulting firms to determine the specific land prices for 22 projects. To date, the specific land prices for 2 projects have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee, 6 projects have been submitted to the Land Valuation Council, 12 projects are currently undergoing land valuation, and 2 projects have not yet undergone land valuation. The revenue collected from land use fees reached VND 417.69 billion, achieving 66% of the plan. Regarding the unblocking of land resources according to Resolution No. 28-NQ/TU dated December 7, 2023 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XIV and Resolution No. 159-NQ/BCSĐ dated February 20, 2024 of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the plan has been deployed to relevant departments, branches, localities and units for implementation.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that departments, agencies, and the People's Committees of districts and cities enhance their responsibilities and direct the implementation with strong determination to complete the set plan. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment should coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to focus on advising the Provincial People's Committee to issue relevant documents within its authority related to land. Regarding the plan to unlock land resources, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and localities to review the existing land fund; review and inspect the situation of enterprises that have been leased land by the State but do not use it, instead subleasing it for purposes other than those initially approved, in order to take timely action; the Provincial Land Fund Development Center needs to focus on implementing solutions to create land funds and unlock land resources. Regarding land valuation and the plan for collecting land use fees, the Vice Chairman requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently advise on the issuance of regulations related to land valuation.
