Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating a specific land valuation plan for 2024, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) has completed collecting comments from relevant departments, branches and localities. Accordingly, in the province, there are 24 works and projects that need specific land valuation to collect land use fees, land rents, and auction land use rights according to regulations. Regarding the preparation for organizing the Land Symposium, the documents and discussion contents of departments, branches and localities have been fully compiled by the DONRE, with the expected time to organize 1 session in April 2024 online. Regarding the plan to implement the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15, the DONRE has also completed the development of a draft plan and documents guiding the implementation of the Law; Advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to organize 8 conferences, including provincial, district and city levels.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to promptly prepare a cost estimate for specific land valuation and send it to the Department of Finance for comments; the selection and signing of contracts to hire consultants to determine the price of each land plot must ensure accuracy and comply with the principles and methods of land valuation as prescribed by law. Based on the results of specific land valuation, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will check and send them to the Land Valuation Council and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. Regarding the preparation for organizing a thematic conference on land and the plan to implement the Land Law No. 31/2024/QH15; he requested the People's Committees of districts and cities to proactively review and synthesize an overview report on the situation of land registration and registration of land use conversion in each locality, point out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, and propose timely solutions. Along with that, fully disseminate the contents of the 2024 Land Law to agencies, organizations, and individuals; all levels, sectors, and localities are responsible for closely coordinating and fully implementing the plan's contents according to the set time, ensuring quality, focus, and effectiveness.
