In 2023, the number of tourists in the province has a fairly good growth rate, especially in the first months of the year and summer, specifically: Welcoming and serving more than 2.9 million visitors, an increase of 20.8%, reaching 107.4% of the plan; of which, international visitors are over 40,000, an increase of 239% over the same period, reaching 200% of the plan. Social income from tourism activities reached 2,300 billion VND.
In 2024, the tourism industry strives to welcome 3.2 million visitors, including 3.1 million domestic visitors, 100,000 international visitors, with revenue reaching 2,500 billion VND; expected to organize many major activities and events such as: pilot opening of the walking street in Phan Rang-Thap Cham city; Provincial cycling race in 2024; 1st Ninh Thuan Open Golf Tournament in 2024; Organizing Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang in 2024; 10th International Yoga Day in Ninh Thuan province; 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival in Ninh Thuan province; Kate Festival in 2024; Ninh Thuan Cuisine Festival - Welcoming the New Year 2025; Ninh Thuan Kite Surfing Tournament... In addition, to attract tourists, the People's Committee of Ninh Hai district has issued a Plan to organize "Ninh Hai - Ninh Thuan Summer Cultural Tourism Week 2024", taking place from July 15 to July 21 with the following activities: Traditional boat racing tournament Dam Nai - Ninh Hai 2024; Cultural tourism festival - Carnival; Music exchange program between art troupes inside and outside the province; Performance of traditional Ao Dai of Vietnamese women; Exchange program of bands, DJs and dance groups; Kite surfing performance; Nightly street art program; Journey to explore Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve...

Concluding the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the provincial tourism sector to strengthen communication work to raise awareness of all levels, sectors and the whole society about the development of tourism into a spearhead economic sector associated with environmental protection; People's Committees of districts and cities proactively organize cultural, sports and tourism activities and events in the district to contribute to promoting and attracting tourists inside and outside the province in 2024. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proactively coordinates with functional units to strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism business management activities in the province; focus on removing and resolving difficulties and problems of tourism enterprises to ensure timely, strict, effective and in accordance with regulations; propose scientific and technological tasks using the state budget to develop and diversify tourism products, build specific products serving tourism, promote OCOP products in the province; as well as promoting activities to call for and create the most favorable conditions for attracting investment in tourism development, socio-economic development projects with tourism development according to planning, ensuring the environment, synchronization, modernity, long-term, maximizing the potential and advantages of the locality in terms of natural factors and national culture, and typical strengths.
