(Baoquangngai.vn) - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien chaired a meeting to give opinions on the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan - An Phu Industrial - Urban - Service Complex.
The investor representative presented the An Phu Industrial - Urban - Service Complex Project with a scale of 393.53 hectares, expected to be implemented in Tu Nghia district. Of which, there are 276 hectares of industrial park land, more than 117 hectares of urban and service land.

The project components include a technology park, an innovative urban area and an ESG (environmental, social and governance) industrial park. This is a complex model associated with an innovation model, building and developing green industrial production zones and green urban areas, etc.
After listening to the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang said that the establishment of a project with a high-tech zone is one of the contents in which the province is attracting investment, contributing to the implementation of the province's growth target.

Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board and provincial industrial parks coordinate with departments, branches and investors to prepare detailed project documents to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval from competent authorities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
The meeting also discussed some information about the VNT 19 Pulp and Paper Mill project. In addition, the Provincial Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board reported difficulties in the process of preparing a feasibility study report on investment in the construction of infrastructure for resettlement areas and grave reburial areas serving projects in the Industrial Park, Service and Urban Area of Binh Thanh.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang emphasized that it is necessary to soon build a resettlement area for people in the project area so that people can enjoy the best infrastructure. Relevant units closely coordinate and fully implement the procedures in a spirit of urgency, ensuring the set progress, especially with the resettlement work for people.
The meeting also agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council for comments on two construction zoning plans for functional areas in Dung Quat Economic Zone.
In which, the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan for Dong Dung Quat mixed service area. The planning boundary has an area of about 521 hectares, belonging to part of the boundary of Binh Thuan and Binh Tri (Binh Son) communes.
Dong Dung Quat mixed service area is a service center of the northern gateway area of Dung Quat Economic Zone, developing services, trade, resort tourism, entertainment, sports associated with sea tourism in Binh Thuan and Binh Tri communes and Thuan Phuoc lagoon area.

The 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan of the Northwest Dung Quat Urban, Industrial and Service Area has a planning area of nearly 2,800 hectares, located in the communes of Binh Chanh, Binh Nguyen, Binh Thanh (Binh Son).

Especially at the present stage, the works and infrastructure in Dung Quat Economic Zone must be specifically reviewed and updated with new information related to the arrangement of administrative units and the new approved plans. The consulting unit drafts the complete document of the two projects based on the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, reports to the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council as soon as possible.
