An Giang Provincial People's Committee organizes speaking and providing information to the press

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee will organize the provision of periodic information every month, in the last week of each month, in the form of updating information on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal according to the Government's regulations on providing information and online public services on the electronic information page. The content of providing information to the press is about the socio-economic development situation, national defense and security; the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee for the province's key tasks in the month, the direction and tasks of the following month; orientation of propaganda content, important events of the province in the coming time.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee will hold a press conference to provide information to the press periodically every quarter, after the quarterly socio-economic meeting. The content of providing information to the press is about the socio-economic development situation, national defense and security; the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee for the province's key tasks in the quarter, the direction and tasks of the next quarter; orientation of propaganda content, important events of the province in the coming time; answering the content of the press's reflection on issues of public interest...

If necessary, the Provincial People's Committee shall periodically provide information to the press in writing or directly at weekly press conferences organized by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Journalists Association. At the same time, provide timely and accurate information to the Government's electronic information portal according to current regulations.

In case of emergency or unusual circumstances, the spokesperson of the Provincial People's Committee shall comply with the provisions of Article 6, Decree 09/2017/ND-CP of the Government detailing the speaking and providing information to the press of State administrative agencies...
