Late this afternoon, February 19th, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee, Le Trung Chinh, chaired a specialized meeting of the City People's Committee.

At the meeting, based on reports and proposals from departments, localities, and the City People's Committee members, many items were discussed, commented on, and voted on according to the work program, ensuring effective direction and management. Notable items included regulations on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the City Department of Science and Technology and the City Department of Agriculture and Environment; adjustments to the Da Nang City solid waste treatment plan until 2030, with a vision to 2045; approval of the investment policy for the Thac Gian - Vinh Trung Lake Architectural Landscape Improvement Project; and the results of the appraisal of adjustments to the policies for several projects in the city. Other items included proposals for the approval of development plans for the Industry and Trade sector for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; and proposals for the management of road infrastructure assets in the city. The recognition of strategic partnerships in the fields of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence in the city, along with several other important issues in these areas, are discussed.
