NDO - On January 15, at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, the 6th National Forum on Digital Technology Enterprises was opened, chaired by the Ministry of Information and Communications, with the theme "Mastering digital technology, mastering Vietnam's digital transformation process with Vietnamese digital technology".

This is an important event organized annually by the Ministry of Information and Communications to promote and encourage the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises in accordance with the direction of the Party and State, supporting products designed, created and manufactured in Vietnam.

The forum also aims to evaluate the implementation of the "Make in Vietnam" policy, deliver messages about new policies for the digital technology industry, orientations for the development of the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries in Vietnam, open up development space for digital technology enterprises; call on the Vietnamese digital technology business community to join hands in the national digital transformation revolution. At the same time, research and master digital technology to help accelerate the implementation of the digital transformation revolution to bring Vietnam to a breakthrough in the new era.

At the event, leading Vietnamese digital technology enterprises such as FPT , HTI, VTG, ASTEC, OSB... demonstrated technology products, especially smart robots, drones, and UAVs designed and manufactured entirely in Vietnam. The products impressed viewers with the capabilities, creativity, and production capacity of Vietnamese technology enterprises.

Making a strong impression on visitors is the HORUS UAV line of HTI Group. This is a product researched and manufactured entirely in Vietnam, by HTI's engineering team.

Making a strong impression on visitors is the HORUS UAV line of HTI Group. This is a product researched and manufactured entirely in Vietnam, by HTI's engineering team.

According to Mr. Ta Ngoc Thanh, Director of the Research and Development Center (R&D) - HTI Group, the HORUS UAV is a long-range observation aircraft, with the ability to take off and land vertically. Weighing 10-12kg, with a maximum payload of 1kg, a communication range of up to 15-20km and a flight time of 1.5-2 hours, the HORUS is suitable for long-range reconnaissance missions, area surveillance and search and rescue.

In particular, with the ability to fly up to 5km above sea level, this Made in Vietnam UAV line has a very high level of stability, being able to withstand up to level 5 winds.

The outer shell of the 100% "Made in Vietnam" UAV is made from high-tech composite, allowing the creation of large seamless structures while reducing the number of screws and small components. This body shell is also corrosion resistant and has high mechanical properties, so HORUS is considered a durable aircraft that can "operate" in many complex environmental conditions.

The outer shell of the 100% "Made in Vietnam" UAV is made from high-tech composite, allowing the creation of large seamless structures, while reducing the number of screws and small components.

The front of the UAV is equipped with a wind speed sensor (Pitot). This is an important device to determine the speed and altitude of the HORUS family UAV, increasing accuracy and stability during operation.

The HORUS P02's day and night thermal camera cluster has a quality of up to 4K, with the ability to zoom far; especially suitable for surveillance, reconnaissance and search and rescue missions. When flying, all parameters such as speed, altitude, wind force... will be transmitted and displayed on a touch screen at the Ground Control Station. At the same time, images are also recorded with almost zero latency.

During flight, all parameters such as speed, altitude, wind speed... will be transmitted and displayed on a touch screen at the Ground Control Station. At the same time, images are also recorded with almost zero delay.

In addition to the main screen displaying the map and parameters above, the Ground Control Station also has an HD quality touch screen below. Through the HTI Ground Station control software, the device allows the detection of heat sensors, motion sensors... thereby making it especially suitable for reconnaissance, surveillance and search missions.

In addition, HORUS also has a manual controller attached. This device allows the operator to continue "flying" the UAV even if the Ground Station has a problem; thereby improving the safety and efficiency of the UAV in real conditions.

The UAV's large capacity battery is located at the front of the aircraft. This is also a prominent advantage of HORUS as the flight time can last from 1.5-2 hours.

According to Mr. Ta Ngoc Thanh, in recent times, HTI Group has tried to be completely self-sufficient in designing and manufacturing the most important components of UAVs.

"In the coming time, HTI Group will try to research, develop further and localize completely 'Made by HTI' production of important components, especially control circuit systems as well as other components to achieve the highest possible localization rate," Mr. Thanh added.

Currently, HTI Group is also focusing on developing more applications based on the existing platform system, especially landing and take-off systems, automating additional features, movements, and operations through the command center.

On the very first day of exhibition, the HORUS family of UAVs received the attention of many experts and visitors.

The Horus UAV was first introduced at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition in December 2024. Immediately after that, HORUS received attention and invitations for cooperation from many parties both domestically and internationally, promising new combinations and developments in the future.
