Looking back at the preparation process, coach Cristiano Roland expressed his satisfaction with what his players showed during the training period and through friendly matches. He emphasized: “This is an important moment and we have prepared many different tactics after the players have shown their abilities.”

Assessing the opponent, the Brazilian strategist said that the coaching staff had studied carefully and prepared for both defense and attack. “The whole team is ready for the first match. I have also considered some possible scenarios and the team must make changes. Every match of U17 Vietnam is a final,” coach Cristiano Roland emphasized.

Coach Cristiano Roland also admitted that physical strength is not the strength of Vietnam U17. This requires the team to focus especially on high balls and set pieces. “We have prepared carefully and believe that the players will do well. The important thing is to maintain maximum concentration throughout the 90 minutes,” he said.

Previously, on April 3, coach Cristiano Roland and his team completed their preparations with the final training session at the training ground in Taif. To help the players feel comfortable, coach Cristiano Roland reduced the training load, mainly organizing physical games to create an exciting atmosphere.
