Before today's training session (September 6), coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his colleagues in the U.22 Vietnam coaching staff held a professional meeting with all players. During the meeting, the coaching staff analyzed the strengths and weaknesses that the U.22 Vietnam players showed in the opening match against host China on September 4.
In this match, although the U.22 Vietnam team lost 1-2, the players were assessed to have shown great progress, played confidently and controlled the game well. However, missing clear opportunities caused the team to lose regrettably in the last minute.
U.22 Vietnam meets to learn from experience and come up with strategies for the match against U.22 Uzbekistan
Based on the data from the match with U.22 China, Coach Dinh Hong Vinh has deployed a training plan for the entire team, before entering the second match of the CFA Team China 2024 international friendly tournament. Accordingly, U.22 Vietnam focuses on overcoming the shortcomings that have been exposed, and at the same time builds tactics for the next match against a strong opponent, U.22 Uzbekistan, taking place at 2:30 p.m. on September 7.
Coach Dinh Hong Vinh said that the opponent Uzbekistan is a young team from a top football team in the continent. Therefore, this is a great opportunity to evaluate the ability of the U.22 Vietnam players. The nature of the match is just a friendly match, but the whole team is determined to show the true spirit of Vietnamese football and do their best to achieve the best results.
U.22 Vietnam can absolutely make a difference against U.22 Uzbekistan, which is considered stronger.
In the opening match, the U.22 Uzbekistan team showed its strength when it won 2-0 against U.22 Malaysia. However, at the CFA Team China 2024 international friendly tournament, the Central Asian team does not have the strongest force. Therefore, the U.22 Vietnam team still has a chance to make a difference.
