The final match of the Vietnam U-19 team (VN) at the U-19 International Four-Nation Tournament - Huashan Cup, China has just ended.
Accordingly, coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team of U-19 Vietnam just lost 1-2 to U-19 Uzbekistan and the Vietnamese youth team left China with three consecutive losses, but that was a very meaningful "test match" before Hua Hien Vinh and his team entered the U-19 Southeast Asian Championship and the U-19 Asian qualifiers.

After losing 0-1 to China and South Korea in the first two matches, in the final match, U-19 Vietnam lost by a goal difference, but this time 1-2.
A young Vietnamese team has many positive signs when all three opponents of coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team are stronger opponents, including Korea and Uzbekistan, both of which are top opponents in the continent in youth football.

In a team like this, it is difficult to be effective. After three matches in the tournament, U-19 Vietnam improved with each match. In the first match, they lost to China in an equal position, even having more opportunities. China was not too superior to Vietnam, but their advantage was turning rare opportunities into goals.

In the second match, U-19 Vietnam lost 0-1 to Korea. This was a match where coach Hua Hien Vinh's players showed their maturity and created more chances, but the strikers were still unlucky, especially Cong Phuong, Huynh Trieu and Long Vu.
What the young Korean team showed more than Vietnam in that match was strength, muscle and stretch, which was already shown through their physique. In that match, Vietnam had even more chances than Korea but the goal did not come.
The final match of the tournament just ended, coach Hua Hien Vinh made a few changes even though U-19 Vietnam continued to lose to Uzbekistan 1-2.
U-19 Vietnam was heavily pressured by the Central Asian opponent and in the last minute of extra time of the first half (45+2), goalkeeper Bao Ngoc's net shook with a close-range shot from Daliev.
In the second half, Vietnam was also under a lot of pressure from Uzbekistan, then goalkeeper Bao Ngoc launched an attack, the ball reached striker Long Vu's feet and this striker dribbled past the defender and goalkeeper of Uzbekistan to score the equalizer 1-1 for Vietnam.
Towards the end of the match, Vietnam was under great pressure and in the 85th minute, Minh Hoi committed a foul and received a red card and had to leave the field. Having been surrounded by many players, and in a 10-on-11 situation, in the last minute, Komilov scored the winning goal 2-1 for Uzbekistan.
A tournament where coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team learned many useful things before participating in the U-19 Southeast Asian tournament as a foundation to later participate in the U-19 Asian qualifiers.
