(Dan Tri) - Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets increased nearly 5% to 5.6 billion USD, ranking 613th in the world, according to Forbes.
In the stock trading session on March 7, the Vingroup family of stocks including VIC, VRE and VHM increased sharply.
At 2:30 p.m., Vingroup Corporation's VIC stock increased sharply to VND45,300/unit, up 13% in nearly a month and at the highest level in about 9 months. VIC is also the only code in the VN30 group to increase to the ceiling price today.

At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased by 7.83 points compared to yesterday, reaching 1,326.05 points. Liquidity reached nearly 20,798 billion VND, down about 1,700 billion VND. Vingroup stocks increased amid positive news. One of them is Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, which has just submitted its listing application to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE). At the end of 2024, the State Securities Commission (SSC) also issued a document confirming the completion of Vinpearl's public company registration.
Vinpearl is a member of Vingroup Corporation, in charge of tourism - resort - entertainment business with a chain of hotels, resorts, spas, conference centers, cuisine, golf courses, and entertainment areas in Vietnam.
The strong increase in stocks also helped billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of Vingroup - expand his assets. According to an update from Forbes Vietnam, as of 2:30 p.m., Mr. Vuong's assets reached 5.6 billion USD, an increase of 252 million USD (up 4.73%) and ranked 613th worldwide.
