Recently, CEO Elon Musk's tweet on May 12 officially confirmed this information. He said Linda Yaccarino will focus mainly on business operations, while he will focus on product design and new technology.

Musk's announcement comes days after he announced he was stepping down as CEO and would be looking for a new CEO, without naming him. His successor will start within the next six weeks.
“Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the app for everything,” he added.
Yaccarino has been at NBCUniversal since 2011. She is highly regarded in the advertising industry. With her extensive industry connections, she is expected to bring strength to Twitter at the present time.
Yaccarino interviewed Musk at a marketing event in mid-April, where the two discussed the role marketers play in the future of Twitter. Throughout the session, Musk tried to reassure advertisers that Twitter is a platform to be respected.
Amid the turmoil, many companies have paused advertising on Twitter. To make up for lost revenue, Elon Musk has launched a new subscription service, Twitter Blue, for $8 a month.
