The rate of online applications in Nam Giang is over 92%

In recent years, administrative reform and digital transformation in Nam Giang district have achieved positive results, contributing to promoting socio-economic development. Mechanisms and policies continue to be implemented synchronously and effectively; administrative procedures are resolved promptly, publicly and transparently, reducing implementation time and costs, creating convenience for people and businesses.

Up to now, 100% of district and commune-level officials and civil servants are fully equipped with computers with relatively basic configurations and are basically qualified to operate information technology application management software; 100% of administrative agencies from district to commune have established internal networks (LAN) and broadband internet networks.

All agencies, units of the district and People's Committees of communes and towns have used the Q-Office document management and operation system; 229/229 digital signature devices were provided to officials and civil servants of agencies, units and localities to serve the direction, operation and digitization of administrative records; 30/50 village cultural houses were invested in community internet.

From January 1, 2023 to July 3, 2024, the total number of received and digitized records in the district reached 7,176 records; of which 480 records were at the district level and 6,696 records at the commune level. Online records reached 6,664/7,176 records (92.86%), records resolved on time reached 99.37%.

At the meeting, the People's Committee of Nam Giang district recommended that telecommunications enterprises soon complete the infrastructure of broadcasting stations and expand the fiber optic network to communes and villages to serve the communication and digital transformation needs of the people.

Nam Giang District recommends that the Department of Information and Communications continue to organize training courses on information technology application skills and digital transformation for localities; provide guidance on the use of electronic archives in digitizing the results of administrative procedure settlement that are still in effect according to Plan 8079 of the Provincial People's Committee; support localities in organizing training courses and drills on network information safety and security.
