In the world market, the USD Index (DXY), measuring the strength of the USD against a basket of six major currencies, decreased by 0.05% to 104.21 points.

The decline came from investors' concerns about tariff policies that could be re-imposed by the administration of former President Donald Trump if he returns to power.
Analysts say the potential for harsh tariffs to hurt U.S. economic growth and increase inflation is high, but some investors remain confident that if the tariffs are implemented, they will not have as negative an impact as initially feared.
Also in the latest session, the USD fell 0.58% against the Japanese Yen, to 149.81 after reaching a three-week high of 150.94. The main reason came from the information that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) is considering a roadmap to raise interest rates, after deciding to raise short-term interest rates to a 17-year high.
On the other hand, the EUR fell slightly by 0.02% to $1.0798, after hitting its lowest level since March 6 at $1.0774. The Australian dollar (AUD) rose by 0.19% to $0.6296 after news of new tax cuts from the government.
The pound also rose 0.19% to $1.2943. Markets are awaiting a new report from British Finance Minister Rachel Reeves, which is expected to outline spending cuts to meet the fiscal rules being set.
The current exchange rate fluctuations reflect the sensitivity of the global currency market to macroeconomic policies, especially tariffs and interest rates. Domestically, the continued appreciation of the USD is a factor that needs to be closely monitored, especially for businesses with import-export activities.
