DNVN - The exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and US Dollar (USD) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) at banks on March 3 recorded changes in two different directions.
This morning, the State Bank announced the central exchange rate at 24,758 VND/USD, 32 VND higher than on February 28. According to the +/-5% amplitude, the ceiling exchange rate is determined to be 25,996 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is 23,520 VND/USD. At the State Bank's transaction office, the reference exchange rate is at 23,540 - 25,912 VND/USD (buy - sell).
Meanwhile, at the commercial banking system at 8:30 a.m., both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the USD exchange rate at 25,370 - 25,730 VND/USD (buy - sell). Compared to the early morning price of February 28, Vietcombank increased by 20 VND in both buying and selling directions, while BIDV adjusted it down by 25 VND.
For CNY, the exchange rate at Vietcombank today is listed at 3,453 - 3,564 VND/CNY (buy - sell), up 4 VND compared to the morning of February 28. On the contrary, BIDV adjusted down 2 VND in both directions, bringing the price down to 3,470 - 3,566 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
