Foreign exchange rates on April 2, 2025: USD increases simultaneously, Yuan adjusts in opposite directions

DNVN - Today, the exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) recorded an increase, while the exchange rate with the Chinese Yuan (CNY) had mixed adjustments.

According to information from the State Bank, the central exchange rate increased sharply by 16 VND compared to yesterday, reaching 24,851 VND/USD. With a trading band of +/-5%, today's ceiling exchange rate is 26,094 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate is at 23,608 VND/USD. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office has also been adjusted to 23,659 - 26,043 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At 8:30 this morning, at commercial banks, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate at 25,460 - 25,820 VND/USD (buy - sell), an increase of 50 VND in both directions compared to the morning of April 1. At BIDV , the USD price also increased by 40 VND, reaching 25,450 - 25,810 VND/USD (buy - sell).

Regarding the NDT exchange rate, Vietcombank listed this foreign currency exchange rate at 3,472 - 3,583 VND/NDT (buy - sell), up 1 VND in both buying and selling compared to yesterday morning. However, at BIDV, the NDT exchange rate decreased 1 VND, down to 3,488 - 3,583 VND/NDT (buy - sell).
