(Dan Tri) - Coach Kim Sang Sik and his team practiced on a field with yellowed grass on the afternoon of November 23. In this practice session, the new goalkeeper coach of the Vietnamese team, Mr. Lee Won Jae, officially debuted.
After settling in, on the afternoon of November 23, the Vietnamese team had their first training session in Korea, preparing for the AFF Cup 2024. Because the temperature outside in the afternoon and evening tends to drop quite quickly, head coach Kim Sang Sik decided to move the team's training schedule up about 45 minutes earlier than originally planned.
In fact, when the team started training, the temperature was only about 13-14 degrees Celsius and quite pleasant thanks to the light sunshine.

The team's training ground is located 15 minutes by bus from the hotel and is a familiar place with many memories for the players of Hanoi Club.
Last year, when participating in the AFC Champions League 2023-24, Hanoi Club with the participation of Tuan Hai, Hai Long, Xuan Manh, Thanh Chung, Duy Manh, Van Truong practiced on this training ground to prepare for the match against the home team Pohang Steelers.

According to the records, the grass at the training ground of the Vietnamese team is very bad due to the impact of the cold winter weather in Korea. However, the quality of the field is still guaranteed for the Vietnamese team to carry out technical and tactical exercises.
Notably, in this afternoon's training session, the new goalkeeper coach of the Vietnamese team, Mr. Lee Won Jae, officially joined the team and accompanied coach Kim Sang Sik and his team.
Mr. Lee Won Jae is known as a former Korean football player, who played for the Korean national team for 18 years, played 132 international matches, was named in the K-League best team 10 times, and won many outstanding individual awards. He also made history by participating in 4 World Cups in 1994, 2002, 2006, and 2010.
