Propagating and introducing typical values of "Peace Culture"

Hoa Binh people are proud of their long history, proud to be the first place to discover and be named after an archaeological culture that not only exists in Vietnam, but also in some Southeast Asian countries, that is the "Hoa Binh Culture", which existed from 30,000 - 7,500 years ago. Hoa Binh Culture sites are present in almost all districts in the province with different densities. The person who made the first contribution to the discovery and research is the French female archaeologist Madeleine Colani.

Since their discovery, the Hoa Binh Cultural sites have attracted the attention of scientists from all over the world and in the country. Currently, in Mai Chau district, there are 5 sites belonging to the "Hoa Binh Culture": Khau Puc cave, also known as Thoc giong cave, Dan Dua rock shelter, Phung Quyen rock shelter, Lang cave and Khoai cave. Of which, 2 sites have been ranked at the national level: Lang cave (in 2005) and Khoai cave (in 1997). With the results of research and archaeological excavations in communes and towns in Mai Chau district, they have contributed more historical data toeducational activities and clarified the process of formation and natural and social development of the "Hoa Binh Culture". At the same time, it has created opportunities for the locality to build more valuable archaeological cultural tourism products, serving the diverse needs of sightseeing, studying and researching of people and tourists.

This is a meaningful activity to raise students' awareness of the special value of the "Hoa Binh Culture". Fostering love for culture and national traditions with the future generations of the country, thereby making efforts to protect, preserve and promote traditional cultural values, actively spreading the value of cultural heritage to friends, family and the community.
