On the afternoon of May 9, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police held a conference to disseminate and collect opinions on draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security to be submitted to the 15th National Assembly at the 7th Session.

At the conference, delegates listened to a summary report on the necessity and main contents of four draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security to be submitted to the 15th National Assembly at the 7th Session, including: Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Guards; Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Support Tools (amended); Law on Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization.

The promulgation of four draft laws has very important political and legal significance, creating a solid foundation to help the People's Public Security force take the initiative in advising the Party and the State in formulating policies and strategies on ensuring security and order, effectively implementing tasks and solutions to implement the strategy of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety (TTATXH) and building the People's Public Security force, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the country and localities in the new situation.

Discussing at the conference, delegates basically agreed with the necessity of issuing the above legal documents, stating that this is an important legal basis to meet the needs of ensuring national defense - security, social order and safety, and overcoming many problems arising in practice.
Delegates contributed specific comments on each draft Law to overcome limitations and shortcomings of current regulations, improve the legal basis, ensure consistency and unity in the legal system so that when promulgated, the Laws are feasible, suitable to practical situations, and meet the requirements of State management of social order and safety in the new situation.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the four draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security and submitted to the 15th National Assembly at the 7th Session are of special importance, having a great impact on the whole society, contributing to meeting the requirements and tasks of protecting the Fatherland and developing the economy - society in the new situation. In particular, the draft Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety has received attention from public opinion, the People, sectors, levels and the whole society. This is the draft law that the National Assembly commented on at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly, in which the National Assembly deputies paid much attention to the issue of prohibiting the use of alcohol and beer when participating in traffic; investment in traffic infrastructure; and the addition of regulations on auctioning vehicle license plates.

Concluding the conference, Director of the Provincial Police Department Tran Phu Ha emphasized: The development of these four draft laws aims to perfect the legal system related to ensuring national security, social order and safety, and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Police force in the spirit of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo. At the same time, it will overcome difficulties and shortcomings, promptly resolve practical issues, create a solid legal corridor in management and prevention, and fight against crimes and law violations, effectively serving the cause of socio-economic development. The draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security have received great attention from the departments, branches, and sectors of the province.
