On the morning of May 12, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police held a conference to disseminate draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security for submission to the 15th National Assembly. Major General Tran Phu Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department, chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Accordingly, the five draft laws chaired by the Ministry of Public Security are expected to be submitted to the 15th National Assembly, including: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam; Law on Citizen Identification (amended); Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level.
These are very important draft laws, contributing to perfecting the legal system on national security and social order and safety; strengthening state management and ensuring citizens' rights; improving the effectiveness of the Public Security Forces and forces participating in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.
Comrade Bui Thi Muoi, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, gave comments on the draft laws.
At the conference, 9 opinions were presented. The opinions contributed to clarifying the necessity of drafting laws and the position, role and importance of the 5 draft laws in social life in general and in ensuring security and order in particular.

After listening to the opinions of the delegates, Major General Tran Phu Ha, Director of the Provincial Police Department, accepted and acknowledged, and emphasized: The development of the above draft laws in the current context is very necessary, helping the police force proactively advise the Party and the State on policies and guidelines on ensuring security and order, effectively implementing tasks and solutions to well protect national security, ensure social order and safety, and build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern police force in the spirit of Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo.
The opinions of the delegates will be compiled by the Provincial Police and reported to the Ministry of Public Security for acceptance and completion of draft laws to be submitted to the National Assembly for study and consideration and approval.
The Provincial Police Director hopes that the delegates will continue to pay attention to and direct the promotion of the above draft laws so that cadres, party members and people can clearly understand, create consensus and support the Party and State's policies and guidelines in directing, developing and promulgating draft laws, and support the police force in its efforts to overcome difficulties and successfully complete assigned tasks.
For the Public Security of units and localities, the Director requested that after this conference, it is necessary to continue to organize propaganda, collect opinions and suggestions from officers and people on draft laws; coordinate with departments and organizations to organize extensive propaganda among the masses so that everyone knows and agrees to support. At the same time, proactively prevent, combat, and neutralize information and content that distorts and is untrue about the policy of building and promulgating draft laws of the Party and State.
