This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), to welcome the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025; to promote and help readers, especially the young generation, understand more clearly and deeply about the important historical event 50 years ago, while spreading the spirit of loving books, building a reading movement, developing a reading culture, and building a learning society.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Cong Dung, full-time member of the Editorial and Publishing Council, Truth National Political Publishing House, said that in order to contribute to reviewing, spreading and continuing the immortal spirit on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, Truth National Political Publishing House has published more than 20 publications on this topic, focusing on selectively reprinting classic works and valuable documents on the resistance war against the US, saving the country and the Great Victory of Spring 1975.

Many books have received attention and positive reception from a large number of cadres, party members, students and readers nationwide; becoming valuable sources of materials serving the research, study, propaganda of history andeducation of patriotic traditions for today's and future generations.
The seminar became a forum for speakers who were generals and soldiers who had gone through life and death, participated directly on the battlefield and contributed to the great victory of Spring 1975 that year, to discuss and share about the lasting value of the historic victory.

Here, generals and veterans who participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign such as: Doctor Dam Duy Thien, former scout, cartographer of Regiment 266, Division 341 - Song Lam, former Director of Department 4 of the Central Organization Committee; Major General Nguyen Cong Son, former Deputy Chief of the Central Military Commission Office; Colonel Le Hat, former Head of the Department of Local Military (National Defense Academy); Colonel Nguyen Duc Nghinh, veteran of Division 341 and delegates and students reviewed the heroic milestones of the nation in the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of 1975.
The delegates clarified the decisive factors that led to the great victory of the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign and the Great Victory of Spring 1975; the developments of the fierce and fierce battles in the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975; especially the factors that led to the victory of Xuan Loc; the role and significance of the work of drawing battle maps to attack the "steel door" of Xuan Loc, paving the way for our troops to advance and liberate Saigon - Gia Dinh in 1975.
Here, young people have access to quality, valuable publications about this heroic historical event, thereby appreciating the value of peace and independence; promoting responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.
