Mickelson (12) will not be able to stand on the same side with Hoang Duc.

The reason is that this match is not on the FIFA Days schedule, and Odense still has a busy schedule at the end of May. From now until May 24, the Danish club must play 5 matches to defend their leading position and ticket to the National Championship.

Odense are leading the promotion race, while Nicholas Mickelson has been an indispensable part of the team. He has played 26 games this season, contributing 5 assists. Mickelson is the second-most played player in the Odense squad and has contributed the third-most assists.

With Mickelson’s irreplaceable role, Odense is determined not to release the Thai player to the ASEAN All Stars. In fact, they played their final match of the season on May 24, so in theory Mickelson still has time to join coach Kim Sang-sik’s squad. But this option is too risky.

Thus, from the initial list of 3 players, there will be only 2 representatives of Thailand, Patiwat Khammai and Peeradon Chamratsamee, joining the ASEAN All Stars squad. Thailand is among the countries with only 2 members joining the team, including Cambodia and Indonesia, while Vietnam and Malaysia each contribute 3 members.

It is not impossible that there will be other players on the list who cannot play with coach Kim Sang-sik and his team against MU. Quang Hai is a typical example. The reason is similar, when the match schedule of the home club is too tight.

Even compared to Odense, Quang Hai's CAHN club has to work harder. If they reach the final of the Southeast Asian Cup C1, they will have to play up to 8 matches in August. Obviously, if this happens, Quang Hai will hardly have enough physical strength to play the match against MU.
