Thailand team quickly naturalizes young Swedish star after losing to Vietnam

The Thai team is about to have the service of Swedish class center back Eric Kahl after the defeat against Vietnam.

Eric Kahl seems to be completely convinced by the direction of the President of the Football Association of Thailand. It is likely that this central defender will only debut for the Thai national team in March 2025 in the qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup. The 23-year-old central defender is valued at 1.8 million euros by Transfermarkt. If Eric Kahl is available, the strength of the Thai defense will be greatly increased. On January 5, the Thai national team will fight Vietnam in the second leg of the final of the 2024 ASEAN Cup.

Kahl began his football career at the age of four when he joined the AIK youth academy in his hometown. Since then, he has progressed from the youth team to the first team and signed his first professional contract in October 2019. Then in July 2021, he decided to join AGF in the Danish Superliga on a five-year contract.
