On the afternoon of March 29, in Da Nang city, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province held a media conference on the opening program of the Tourism Year and the 3rd Tuyen Quang International Balloon Festival in 2024.
Attending the conference were comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches, localities, agencies, units, enterprises, and press of Tuyen Quang province.

The conference had the presence of leaders of Da Nang City; representatives of the International Balloon Association; Vietnam Tourism Association; Tourism Promotion Center, tourism and travel businesses from several provinces and cities; representatives of more than 80 local, central and foreign press agencies, Kols, Youtubers, Facebookers, and Tikokers nationwide.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that Tuyen Quang has many favorable conditions to develop diverse types of tourism, notably: Historical tourism, returning to the source; eco-tourism, experience; resort tourism; spiritual tourism; festival tourism, etc. These are unique and special cultural and tourism products of Tuyen Quang, attracting a large number of people, domestic and international tourists.

The 2024 Tourism Year will be held from April 27, with many attractive activities such as: Opening program of the Provincial Tourism Year; The 3rd Tuyen Quang International Hot Air Balloon Festival; activities to display and introduce tourism products and craft villages of Tuyen Quang, with over 100 booths typical of Tuyen Quang province and provinces and cities across the country; conference to connect investment, trade, tourism and craft villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Tuyen Quang; launching a typical tourism product with the theme "My Lam Hot Spring - Miraculous Spring"; women's football activities of ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province, national club badminton tournament in 2024 in Tuyen Quang...

In addition, localities throughout the province also simultaneously organized a series of activities to respond, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people, attracting tourists.
3rd International Balloon Fiesta 2024
Continuing to promote the results achieved at the 2nd International Hot Air Balloon Festival in 2023, the 3rd International Hot Air Balloon Festival is a highlight activity in response to the opening program of Tuyen Quang Province Tourism Year 2024.

This year's festival brings together 22 hot air balloons (10 free-flying hot air balloons, 5 suspended hot air balloons, 7 performance hot air balloons) piloted by international pilots from the following countries: England, Australia, Spain, Netherlands, Japan, China, Thailand... and Vietnam. With the experience of suspended flying and free-flying hot air balloons, visitors will be immersed in the majestic natural space of Tuyen Quang mountains and forests.

In particular, from April 28 to 30, the province will organize 3 nights of DJ music performances combined with the Hot Air Balloon Light Festival, with the participation of MARINA, Banh Cuon, Bach Xa, Quan AND... to serve the people and tourists; organize exchange activities between students and international hot air balloon pilots...
At the conference, delegates also discussed and exchanged contents related to the activities of implementing the Tourism Year and the 3rd International Balloon Festival such as how to communicate about festivals, connect tours, tourist routes, highlights of tourism development in the province...

The media conference on the opening program of the Tourism Year and the Tuyen Quang International Balloon Festival is an annual activity of the province. This is an opportunity for Tuyen Quang to introduce and promote the values of cultural heritage, potential and advantages of tourism development of the province, attracting tourists as well as investors to Tuyen Quang.
