Vietnam women's futsal team goes to Japan for training to prepare for the Asian Women's Futsal Championship

Before leaving, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang finalized the list of 16 athletes for training (After the training session, the list will be finalized to 14 athletes for the final round). Players not on the training list include: Le Trinh Khanh Linh, Danh Lam Kim Phung, Ngo Thi Hong Nhung and A Dat Rin To.

After the night flight, the whole team arrived in Chiba city in stable health, high spirits, ready for two friendly matches here. Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said the temperature here ranges from 14 to 23 degrees, there is a temperature difference compared to Ho Chi Minh City, but similar to the weather in Hohhot, the venue of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Finals.

Regarding the training trip in Japan, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said the team will play a friendly match with FC Fugador Sumiga Ladies on April 23 and the Japanese women's futsal team on April 25.

“The two friendly matches in this training session are an opportunity for the coaching staff to check the preparation process of the whole team. We have made changes in playing style as well as tactics. From these two friendly matches, the coaching staff hopes that the players will get into the rhythm and operate the game well when facing strong opponents, playing with higher intensity. After this training session, the list will be finalized to 14 athletes to participate in the final round,” said coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang.

After finishing training, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will go to Hohhot (Inner Mongolia, China) on May 1, to have a final friendly match with the Chinese women's futsal team (May 3) before officially participating in the tournament.
