Honoring 52 outstanding artists of Tay Ninh province

The conference is a special cultural activity, part of a series of important events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, national reunification, and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Tay Ninh (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Thereby honoring typical literary and artistic works with profound ideological and artistic values; being an opportunity to meet and express gratitude to artists who have made many important contributions to the province's literature and art; thereby promptly encouraging and motivating authors whose works won prizes in the literary and artistic composition contest "Tay Ninh - 50 years of rising vitality".

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh spoke at the conference.

Tay Ninh Literature and Arts Association was established on October 13, 1984. Up to now, it has 304 members, including 136 party members (44.73%), 62 members of Central professional associations (20.39%). All operate in 6 professional branches of Literature, Folk Arts, Music and Dance, Theater, Fine Arts and Photography.

Throughout the struggle and construction of the homeland, generations of Tay Ninh artists have always accompanied and made important contributions to the revolutionary cause with emotional works of art that touched people's hearts, encouraged patriotism, and the desire for peace, independence, and development.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to honor outstanding artists of Tay Ninh province 50 years after the country's reunification.

The poems, songs, paintings, plays, dances, etc. of generations of artists not only truly reflect the life, fighting, and working of the Tay Ninh people but also express profound human values, becoming a great source of motivation, accompanying and encouraging the renovation and development of the homeland and country, contributing to building a solid spiritual foundation for society.

Over the past years, cultural, literary and artistic activities have always received attention from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, creating favorable conditions to help artists promote their talents and intelligence, contributing more to the development of literature and art in the province.

Thanks to that, the appearance of Tay Ninh province's literature and art has many excellent works, which have vitality over time, recording the reality of life and culture, the beauty of Tay Ninh land and people.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the commemorative medal honoring the typical work 50 years after the country's reunification to Ms. Dang Thi Phuong - Chairwoman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the valuable contributions of generations of Tay Ninh writers and artists in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, contributing to glorifying Tay Ninh homeland on the national cultural and artistic map.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh awarded certificates of merit to the winners of the contest "Tay Ninh - 50 years of rising vitality".

In the context of the country continuing to innovate, integrate and develop strongly, the role of literature and art is becoming more and more important. Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh believes that the team of artists in the province will continue to promote tradition, constantly create and innovate, giving birth to many works of high ideological and artistic value, vividly reflecting the construction and development of Tay Ninh homeland, contributing to spreading good values, nurturing the soul and personality, arousing the aspirations of each Tay Ninh citizen in particular and the whole country in general.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province recognized, expressed gratitude, and presented flowers to 52 outstanding artists of Tay Ninh province 50 years after the country's reunification; and awarded prizes in the contest "Tay Ninh - 50 years of rising vitality" to the winning works.
