On the morning of May 10, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Dak Lak Provincial Young Pioneer Council organized a program to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

At the program, Comrade Phan Thi Trinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union spoke to review the 83-year tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers; emphasizing the great contributions of generations of children of all ethnic groups in Vietnam; as well as the great responsibility of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in caring for and educating teenagers and children and building the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers.
Comrade Phan Thi Trinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said: In order to honor the exemplary team members of the province, at the same time promote new factors in building a strong Team, continue to promote the emulation movements of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team and the campaign "Dak Lak children compete to implement well the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho"; The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Dak Lak Provincial Team Council organized a program to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory with the participation of 120 delegates who are exemplary team members of 15 districts, towns and cities. This is an opportunity for children to report to Uncle Ho and the provincial leaders their achievements in activities, study and training, and will be an opportunity for exemplary children in the province to exchange, discuss and learn from each other in the Team movements, building a strong Team organization.
In 2024, children across the province competed to make achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory. The Youth Union at all levels organized specific activities such as: Stamp collection contest, historical photo exhibition, "I am a little soldier of Dien Bien" painting contest, talking about traditions, visiting and giving 356 gifts to veterans; giving 700 gifts, more than 500 scholarships, 176 bicycles to poor children who overcame difficulties.
Also at the program, 04 outstanding team members in studying and participating in activities of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team exchanged and shared their views and experiences in studying and training to become good children, good students, good team members, and good children of Uncle Ho.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Council honored 30 typical Dien Bien Young Soldiers in the whole province and congratulated 02 excellent Youth Union commanders of the province who won the Kim Dong award presented by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
