The Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defence has just announced the recruitment of additional students for university and college training at military schools in 2023.
The conditions for candidates applying for supplementary admissions are: having participated in the preliminary selection and received notification from a military school confirming eligibility; not having been admitted or confirmed to any other institution; meeting the health standards as prescribed by the prospective school; having participated in the 2023 high school graduation exam, with a total admission score and supplementary criteria (if any) equal to or higher than the admission requirements of the first round of the prospective school.
Applicants can submit their applications directly to the school or via express or priority mail (the application deadline is determined by the postmark ). The application dossier includes: Application form (according to the school's template); original copy of the 2023 High School Graduation Examination results certificate (certificate bearing the red seal of the Department of Education and Training); photocopy of the preliminary admission notification from the school where the applicant submitted their preliminary application.
The application period is from October 22nd to 29th. On November 3rd, the schools will review the applications and report their proposed admission scores to the Military Recruitment Board, Ministry of National Defense.
The admission criteria and minimum scores for supplementary applications to military university training programs in 2023 are as follows:
The Army Officer School I is recruiting an additional 64 students, including 30 students for the university level with the C00 subject combination (Literature, History, Geography) and admission scores ranging from 15 to 21.25 points; and 30 students for the college level with application scores ranging from 10.25 to 16.5 points.
The Army Officer School II is conducting supplementary admissions for 14 university-level positions, with application scores ranging from 15 to 17.5 points; and 10 college-level positions, with application scores ranging from 10.5 to 14.25 points.
The Logistics Academy is conducting supplementary admissions for the Military Logistics major with 10 slots for the A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and A01 (Mathematics, Physics, English) subject combinations. The minimum application score is 21.70 (for male candidates from the South) and 24.68 (for male candidates from the North).
The Military Medical Academy is conducting supplementary admissions for two majors: Medicine and Pharmacy. Specifically, the Medicine major has 2 vacancies, with the minimum application score for the B00 and A00 subject combinations being 25.15 (for male candidates from the North) and 24.91 (for male candidates from the South). The Pharmacy major is accepting 4 additional applications for the A00 subject combination for male candidates from the South, with a minimum application score of 23.20.
The Border Guard Academy is recruiting an additional 6 students, with application scores ranging from 19.95 to 22.15 points.
The Political Officer Training School is recruiting an additional 23 students, with application scores ranging from 19.55 to 27.62 points.
The Artillery Officer School is recruiting an additional 18 students, with application scores ranging from 22.30 to 22.75 points.
The Signal Corps Officer School is accepting applications for 5 positions, with a minimum application score of 22.80 to 22.94 points.
The Armored Forces Officer School is recruiting an additional 9 students with application acceptance scores of 21.45 and 22.80 points.
The Chemical Warfare Officer School is accepting applications for three additional positions, with minimum application scores of 20.95 and 22.55 points.
The Special Forces Officer School is accepting applications for an additional 9 positions, with minimum application scores of 18.05 and 22.45 points.
