Tay Ninh youth enthusiastically promote revolutionary songs

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, national reunification, and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Tay Ninh (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 16, Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Tay Ninh Radio and Television to organize a festival of teams and groups promoting revolutionary songs in 2025 with the theme "Pride of a strip of mountains and rivers".

The festival gathered 11 propaganda teams and groups from Youth Union bases under the Provincial Youth Union and revolutionary song propaganda teams that had won high prizes in district/city level competitions held previously.

Each team participating in the festival has 25 minutes to perform their entries, including solo singing, group singing, illustrated dances, costumes, props and vivid slideshows. At the festival of teams and groups promoting revolutionary songs in 2025, heroic and emotional melodies were sung from the hearts of young people.

Each performance is a story told through music – about the Party, Uncle Ho, about patriotism, and faith in the future. Commenting on this year’s competition, musician Le Hong Tang – member of the Vietnam Musicians Association and member of the Jury, gave many compliments to the teams for their investment in propaganda content as well as costumes and props.

“In particular, there are many performances that focus on promoting the cultural traditions of ethnic minorities, praising Tay Ninh. Besides, this is a genre of propaganda of revolutionary songs, so the propagandist's introduction is also very important, the words need to be carefully invested and emotional. And most of you have conveyed the atmosphere of victory, pride and determination to build the homeland of Tay Ninh to develop more and more brilliantly" - musician Le Hong Tang assessed.

In this year's festival, many teams demonstrated the spirit of youth volunteerism in the story of peacekeeping, promoting the role in the era of national development.

A typical example is the Chau Thanh District Youth Union's Revolutionary Song Propaganda Team. With creativity and clever integration and connection of singing and dancing performances with meaningful propaganda messages, they brought a youthful yet profound atmosphere to the festival.

Nguyen Ha Trang Thu - member of the Chau Thanh District Youth Union's Revolutionary Song Propaganda Team shared that with the theme "Chau Thanh Youth is proud to follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers", including the medley "The Sun in the Dark" and "Continuing the Story of Peace", the Chau Thanh District Contest Team wants to send the message to the Festival that: today's young generation should always look back at history, preserve peace and always strive to build the future, bringing a country that is increasingly developed and prosperous.

With that purpose and meaning, the Chau Thanh District Youth Union's Revolutionary Song Propaganda Team wishes to spread revolutionary love to the community and people.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Revolutionary Songs Propaganda Team of Chau Thanh District; three Second Prizes respectively went to the Revolutionary Songs Propaganda Team of Go Dau District, the Revolutionary Songs Propaganda Team of Tay Ninh City and the Revolutionary Songs Propaganda Team of Trang Bang Town.

The festival of revolutionary song propaganda teams is one of the activities that the Provincial Youth Union maintains and organizes every two years. This is not only an opportunity for revolutionary song propaganda teams to exchange, but also to fuel the spread of revolutionary songs, fostering patriotism and love for the Party among the masses, especially the young.
