Quang Nam Youth Union undertakes construction and repair of at least 185 houses

That is the content that has just been deployed by the Central Youth Union Secretariat through the national youth project "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025". The project will be deployed from now and completed before October 31, 2025.

Accordingly, Quang Nam youth registered to support funding and construction materials, and established youth volunteer teams to support working days to build and repair at least 185 houses in the province under the "3 links" policy.

Newly built or repaired houses must ensure safety, quality, and the ability to withstand the impacts of natural disasters and climate change, and must be suitable to the conditions, characteristics, cultural identity, customs and practices of the nation, regions, and the right beneficiaries.

Quang Nam Youth also competes to effectively use resources, ensuring fairness, democracy, publicity, transparency, compliance with regulations, and anti-waste with the principle of supporting each household, in accordance with practical conditions.

At the same time, coordinate with other socio -political organizations to strengthen and promote the effectiveness of inspection, supervision and social criticism in the implementation of policies and regimes to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

It is known that, according to the direction of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Quang Nam Province, there will be 2 peak periods to organize a total effort to eliminate temporary houses. The first period will be from mid-March to mid-April 2025 and the second period will be in June 2025 associated with the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union is focusing on implementing each specific part of the work; at the same time, organizing visits, encouraging and promptly rewarding the forces directly constructing the project.
