Diversify forms of propaganda and education

In order for the young generation to understand the heroic revolutionary tradition of their homeland and the great value of independence and freedom today, propaganda and education work has been identified by the Youth Union and Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province as a key task, focusing on mobilizing resources to carry out regularly and continuously. With many effective solutions, the Youth Union and Youth Union chapters at all levels have focused on implementing propaganda and education work with a focus, key points, and innovation in both content and form.

The central and consistent content is to propagate and educate about the revolutionary tradition of the homeland, foster patriotism and gratitude for the contributions of previous generations to regain independence and freedom for the Fatherland.

In addition to direct forms such as: Organizing thematic activities, seminars, dialogues, journeys to the source, visiting red addresses; Youth Union and Association chapters at all levels have increased the use and exploitation of the strengths of social networks to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and education to each member and youth.

Currently, the whole province has 230 fanpages, 230 zalo groups, 15 mocha 35 groups of the Youth Union at all levels established to propagate on the Internet and social networks; posting more than 8,500 propaganda articles each year.

The propaganda content helps young union members understand the revolutionary ideals of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh; revolutionary traditions, local history; study and fully grasp the directives and resolutions of the Party and the Union; spread examples of good people and good deeds...

Thereby contributing to forming ideals and revolutionary ethics for young union members; promoting the vanguard spirit of youth, being exemplary, training and preserving moral qualities, having a sense of organization and discipline, always upholding the spirit of responsibility, overcoming difficulties to successfully complete assigned tasks.

In addition, the Youth Union and Association at all levels also organize a variety of activities to "permeate" gratitude into the hearts and minds of the young generation through activities such as: Candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs and give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, wounded and sick soldiers on July 27; care for and support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; honor progressive youths who follow Uncle Ho's teachings...

From gratitude to the previous generation, Ninh Binh youth have been clearly expressing their desire to devote their youth to the revolutionary cause of the new era, which is to protect and build the homeland and country to become more and more beautiful and civilized. That desire is expressed through concrete actions such as: The movement "Youth volunteering for community life"; the movement "Youth starting a business, establishing a career and volunteering to protect the Fatherland".

Comrade Le Thi Mai Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: The movement "Youth volunteers for community life" is organized by the Youth Union at all levels in annual peak periods such as Youth Month, Summer Volunteer Campaign, Winter Volunteer Program, Spring Volunteer Program...

In the first 3 months of 2024 alone, over 1,600 projects and works were carried out by Ninh Binh youth, benefiting society over 4.5 billion VND.

Typical examples include planting more than 24,000 new trees; collecting more than 50 tons of waste; implementing more than 30 youth projects "Bright-green-clean-beautiful-civilized-safe roads"; building and repairing 10 projects "Lighting up the countryside roads"; building 5 "Red Scarf" houses, Charity houses for families with preferential policies, families of team members, and children in difficult circumstances; implementing 20 projects of free public wifi hotspots and digital libraries; giving away nearly 8,000 gifts, donating 1,700 units of blood...

In addition to volunteer activities, the Youth Union is also enthusiastic about working in production and economic development. With the support of the Youth Union and Association at all levels in vocational training support, job placement support and capital loans, many young people have boldly started their own businesses, helping to create jobs and increase income for the Youth Union in the province.

Especially from preferential capital sources according to Resolution No. 103/2023/NQ-HDND (formerly Resolution No. 43/2018/NQ-HDND) of the Provincial People's Council on supporting loans for start-ups and production and business development for young people in Ninh Binh province, more than 800 start-up and career models of young people have accessed capital; many models have been built and developed, generating hundreds of millions of VND in revenue each year.

In the first 3 months of 2024 alone, the Youth Union and Association at all levels disbursed 11.47 billion VND according to Resolution No. 103 for 89 project models of young union members to start businesses and expand production and business. Following the revolutionary tradition, young union members in the province also actively responded to the movement "Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland", enthusiastically enlisted in the army and participated in ensuring security and order in the locality.

During the recent recruitment season, 1,450 young union members of the province seriously complied with the call to join the army and police units, ensuring 100% of the military recruitment target for 2024. Locally, young union members also actively participated in 320 shock teams to maintain security and order, nearly 200 self-managed youth groups; maintained 21 self-managed youth routes for security and order...

Today's Ninh Binh youth have been following the revolutionary tradition of previous generations; maintaining the spirit of vanguard, volunteering, constantly striving, training, and creating in the fields of study and labor; leaving a good impression with youth projects of profound social significance, creating a strong influence, attracting not only the Youth Union but also the People to participate, contributing to building Ninh Binh homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
