With high determination and great efforts, the Youth Union members of Luong Son district have had many active activities, promoting the role of shock troops, volunteering, mobilizing social resources, contributing funds and working days to contribute to the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses (XNT, NDN) in the area.

Luong Son District Youth Union - Youth Union and other units joined hands to hand over the "Red Scarf House" to the family of Bui Thi Ngoc Uyen, Cao Ram Primary and Secondary School in Vai Dao hamlet, Cao Son commune.

Responding to the movement "Joining hands to build houses for the poor", the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union has established youth volunteer teams to promote propaganda on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on building houses for the poor, supporting the repair and construction of houses for people with difficult housing circumstances. Focus on mobilizing support resources, creating consensus among all classes of people in implementation. In addition, mobilize, gather and unite young people to participate in supporting and helping with workdays to build and repair houses for the subjects to ensure safety, quality and on schedule. Especially focusing on 2 peak campaigns during Youth Month and the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in 2025.

Recently, the District Youth Union - District Pioneer Council coordinated with accompanying units to organize the handover ceremony of the "Red Scarf House" in 2025 for Bui Thi Ngoc Uyen, a 4th grade student at Cao Ram Primary and Secondary School in Vai Dao hamlet, Cao Son commune. After more than 2 months of implementation, with the participation and help of relatives, the attention and support of local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, unions and the support of accompanying organizations, agencies and units, the house was completed and put into use with a construction area of ​​nearly 70m2, with a total cost of over 100 million VND.

Uyen's family is a poor household with 5 members. Her father is the main breadwinner but is in poor health and can only do temporary jobs. The whole family lives in a temporary house of only about 18 square meters that has seriously degraded. Difficulties pile up, all living expenses depend on the father's meager salary. At the handover ceremony, representatives of agencies, units, and benefactors presented many equipment, household items, and school supplies to Uyen, totaling 15 million VND.

Comrade Nguyen Dang Tuyen, Secretary of the Luong Son District Youth Union, shared: Supporting the construction of the "Red Scarf House" has profound humanistic significance. Therebyeducating the younger generation about the tradition of mutual love and support of the nation. At the same time, promoting the spirit of volunteering "For beloved juniors", so that many children in difficult circumstances have more motivation to rise up in life. In 2024, Luong Son District Youth Union actively implemented the XNT and NDN programs to support families of children in difficult circumstances. Through the process of mobilizing and coordinating with sponsoring units and organizations, the District Youth Union supported the construction and handover of 2 new solid houses to the family of Phan Anh Dung, a student of class 3B, Hop Thanh Primary and Secondary School and Dinh Thi Van Nhi, a student of class 5B, Cao Ram Primary and Secondary School, with a total value of each house of over 100 million VND.

Implementing the policy of the District Youth Union on launching a working day to join hands in the construction of houses for poor families, in recent days, hundreds of Youth Union members in the district have actively participated in supporting the dismantling, repairing and building houses for disadvantaged families. Right from the first days of launching, the enthusiasm of Luong Son youth has spread strongly. In communes and towns, the Youth Union members do not hesitate to work hard and enthusiastically participate in transporting furniture, dismantling houses, and preparing the ground for repairing and building new houses. In 2025, the District Youth Union plans to dismantle 2 temporary houses for disadvantaged children's families in the area.

With the spirit of "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", the Youth Union of Luong Son district not only contributes its youth to the cause of poverty reduction and poverty reduction, but also affirms its pioneering role in social security activities, continuing to spread good values ​​in the community.
