Driver's license revoked for bus driver who crossed lanes and overtook recklessly on Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway

(PLVN) - Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Team 1), Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security has just drawn up a record of administrative violation and temporarily confiscated the driver's license of the G8 SaPa Open Tour passenger car driver in the case of the passenger car encroaching on the lane and recklessly overtaking on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

On April 20, Team 1, Traffic Police Department (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) announced that it had drawn up a record of administrative fines and temporarily detained the driver's license of driver Vu Quang Hai (born in 1971, from Vinh Phuc) for driving a passenger car in the wrong lane (entering the opposite lane) as prescribed in Point B, Clause 5, Article 6 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP.

Earlier, at around 9:45 a.m. the same day, driver Vu Quang Hai was driving a passenger bus with license plate 29F-034.04 on the Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway ( Hanoi – Lao Cai). At km 144, the car suddenly changed direction and crossed into the opposite lane to overtake, nearly crashing into a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction.

Upon receiving the information, Team 1, Traffic Police Department quickly verified. At 11:15 a.m. the same day, the working group stopped the violating vehicle and proceeded to issue a fine to the driver.
