Looking back on her journey, the female student admitted that success was not due to luck, but the result of hard work and perseverance day and night. Sharing her personal story, the female student said that in 2020, she faced a huge shock because she failed all her wishes to enter specialized schools and key high schools in China.

Having no choice, Tinh Di was forced to pursue a secondary education. At this time, the female student chose to study at the Henan Chemical Engineering Vocational College (China). However, the reality was harsher than Tinh Di had imagined. The feeling of being unfamiliar with the new environment and the concerns about the future made the female student want to drop out of school many times.

"At that time, I wanted to find a suitable job to both study and work, but everything was too difficult. I almost dropped out of school from the very beginning," Tinh Di said. When she was about to give up, the female student met Khuong Vu Ha - the champion of the 2021 National Vocational Skills Competition. held in Henan (China). Vu Ha's story is like a ray of light that helps Tinh Di regain faith.

After regaining her spirits, Tinh Di proved her ability by passing the faculty's selection to enter the national talent training class. During this process, Tinh Di spent a lot of time practicing her skills. As a result, the female student ranked first in the selection for the national team.

After many tests and evaluations, on May 6, Jing Di officially became the Chinese representative to participate in the competition. Surpassing many competitors, Jing Di - a 19-year-old female student in secondary school - rose to the top of the Chemistry Laboratory Technology category at the WorldSkills 2024 competition with 756 points.

To prepare for the competition, the female student practiced non-stop, even staying up all night to complete the experiment. In October 2022, participating in the Kaifeng City Vocational Competition (Henan, China), Tinh Di made a mistake in mixing the solution. Although she was worried and sad, thanks to the encouragement of her teachers, the female student regained her spirit and learned her lesson. With that valuable experience, Tinh Di competed confidently in the world competition.

Talking about the difficulties in participating in the WorldSkills 2024 competition, Tinh Di said that the competition took place over 4 days, divided into 6 modules including: Chemical analysis methods, spectral analysis, organic synthesis, electrical conductivity analysis, potential analysis and electrophoresis.

In particular, module B was designed mysteriously. "Usually before the exam, candidates have a day to familiarize themselves with the equipment. However, at that time, the lab table of module B had no tools, so I didn't know what to do in this part of the exam," the female student said.

In the end, although she completed the experiment and came to the correct conclusion, Tinh Di still had problems with the results of the two small tests: "However, this did not affect my total score much." Because she was not familiar with foreign experimental equipment, Tinh Di was quite confused during the test.

Thanks to the spirit of daring to challenge and overcome limits, the female student made remarkable progress in 1.5 years of hard training. Becoming a representative of China to participate in the world competition and having her name called on the podium of glory, not only was it a source of pride but also a great challenge for Tinh Di.
