Step by step modernization of traditional medicine in the future

That is the urgent requirement that people's physician, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Siem, former Chairman of the Hanoi Oriental Medicine Association, currently Chairman of the Scientific Council on Community Health - Institute for Cultural Development and Community Health Care shared on the sidelines of the "Scientific Workshop on the effectiveness of treatment by traditional medicine methods and prescriptions" held on the morning of November 3 in Hanoi.

"Scientific Workshop on the Effectiveness of Treatment by Traditional Medicine Methods and Prescriptions" was jointly organized by the Institute for Cultural Development and Community Health Care, the Central Association of Traditional Medicine of Vietnam, the Institute for Research on Traditional Medicine of Vietnam, the Institute for Research on Human Resources and Talents, and the Vietnam Center for Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.

According to People's Physician, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Siem, modern medicine has developed strongly but cannot "forget" traditional medicine. When everything is following the market mechanism, traditional medicine needs to further promote the issue of socialization, privatization... Workshop This science marks a new turning point when a non-public organization expands its network of members, encouraging physicians and doctors to do scientific research. "Private organizations in traditional medicine have begun to orient the path to modernizing traditional medicine in the future. It cannot be denied that doing science is very necessary in medicine in general and traditional medicine in particular," Mr. Siem emphasized.

The scientific conference on the morning of November 3rd gathered many leading experts and scientists in the field of traditional medicine. The workshop is considered a forum for physicians and physicians to exchange and contribute valuable experiences to build a more sustainable traditional medicine, while raising people's awareness of traditional medicine, promoting cooperation between physicians and physicians nationwide in the journey to preserve the precious values ​​of traditional medicine.
