Thai Nguyen Culture, Sports and Tourism Week takes place from April 20 to 26

Thai Nguyen Culture, Sports and Tourism Week with many attractive and rich activities, imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the ethnic groups of Thai Nguyen province such as the 2nd "Eight Heroes, Eight Immortals - Thai Nguyen Tea Fragrance" Chess Tournament in 2025 took place from April 20 to 26 at Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space, Thai Nguyen city.

At Van Xuan Square, Pho Yen city, there will be a hot air balloon performance on April 26; also here, from April 24 to April 28, there will be an exhibition of Thai Nguyen ornamental plants; on April 26 and 27, Thai Nguyen province will organize a Famtrip delegation to survey tourist destinations in the area to enhance destination promotion.

The province will organize the 2025 National Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship in the last 10 days of April 2025; Vietnam-North Korea martial arts exchange in the 2025 National Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship program at Thai Nguyen Sports Gymnasium on April 22.

The province's 2025 "Experience the land of Tea, imbued with identity" tourism season program includes activities such as operating a tourist train from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen; displaying beautiful photos of Thai Nguyen culture, sports and tourism; organizing a space to display and promote the tourism product "Thai Nguyen culinary quintessence" and performing intangible culture; performing Vietnamese Ao Dai associated with tea culture; promoting OCOP products, typical agricultural products of Thai Nguyen province to promote tourism and attract tourists to the locality.

On this occasion, districts and cities in the province organized many cultural, sports and tourism promotion activities to create a joyful, exciting and proud atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
