Film week celebrating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh in his hometown

The film week is organized to express respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, outstanding cultural celebrity; to celebrate the 135th anniversary of his birth. Through activities, the film week continues to propagate andeducate Ho Chi Minh's ideology; promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; and promote the image of Nghe An homeland to the whole country and the world.

In addition, through cinematographic works, the film week contributes to educating historical traditions, fostering and promoting patriotism, revolutionary heroism, solidarity, pride and national self-reliance; affirming the achievements of our Party and people in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines, policies and the State's laws; contributing to improving people's knowledge, serving the people's need for cultural enjoyment.

The films screened on this occasion have appropriate content and themes to serve the people, soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions in Nghe An province. They are the documentary “Paintings from the Heart” (People’s Army Cinema), the feature film “Moon of Childhood” (Liberation Film Joint Stock Company), and the feature film “Peach, Pho and Piano” (Feature Film Joint Stock Company I).

Within the framework of the film week, there will also be an exchange program with artists and film crews at the 414th Engineering Brigade (Military Region IV), with the people of Nam Dan district on May 13 and at Vinh University (Vinh city) on May 14.
