What is your view on the position of the General Secretary in the hearts of the people of the whole country?

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is one of the most prominent and influential leaders in the Party's modern period. In the hearts of the people, he is known as a resolute, upright leader with a spirit of dedication to the country's development.

Under his leadership, many important policies were issued and implemented, especially in the fight against corruption. He contributed to orienting and promoting economic and social reform movements, revitalizing national culture, bringing prosperity and confidence to the people.

In fact, to the people, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is not only a leader but also an example of morality, spirit of serving the country and modesty. His respect and love is the result of his tireless efforts, loyalty and love for his homeland and country.

At the recent funeral of the General Secretary, thousands of people waited patiently and quietly, and millions of people across the country expressed their condolences. This sadness is not only because of the loss of a human being, but also because of the loss of a dedicated and prestigious leader... He was respected not only for his political achievements but also for his simplicity and closeness to the people.

What impressed you most about General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong during your meetings?

Although I rarely have the opportunity to meet General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, I still feel his noble qualities and ethics - typical of the Vietnamese people. He always has a high sense of responsibility and dedication to his work. It can be said that he has devoted his whole life to the cause of developing the country.

With his steadfast and decisive spirit in implementing policies and fighting corruption, he has become his trademark. He has led the country through many challenges and received the trust of the entire Party and people.

Speaking at the opening session of the 13th National Party Congress, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized: “With all modesty, we can still say that: Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today. Those achievements are the crystallization of creativity, the result of a process of continuous and persistent efforts over many terms of our entire Party, people and army...”.

As a person who is close to the people, respects the people, learns from the people and is responsible for the people, he always listens and contributes many valuable research works and applies them to leadership work. In particular, he is a representative of the spirit of innovation. In addition to being steadfast in his ideals, he always encourages necessary innovations and reforms to promote socio-economic development, helping the country successfully integrate into the international community and "take off".

The General Secretary is a person with profound influence, leading and orienting the cultural field. He once shared: “Human happiness is not only in having a lot of money, a lot of property, delicious food, beautiful clothes, but also in the richness of the soul, living in love and compassion, justice and fairness”. He always aims to protect and promote traditional and revolutionary cultural values in political leadership.

His love for culture permeates every directive, article, and saying. The spirit of “culture lights the way for the nation”, or “culture is the soul of the nation, expressing national identity. As long as culture exists, the nation exists” most deeply expresses his desire for the role of culture in leading and regulating the country’s development.

At the 2021 National Cultural Conference, the General Secretary delivered a speech, raising many messages and truly inspiring cultural cadres and artists to contribute more to the cause of reviving the country's culture.

The General Secretary’s system of viewpoints on cultural development and human development summarized in his articles and speeches is collected in the book “Building and developing an advanced culture with strong national identity”. I see that President Ho Chi Minh's profound thoughts on culture and tradition have strongly influenced General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. He always aims to protect and promote traditional and revolutionary cultural values in his political leadership.

With his tireless efforts, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has truly made an important contribution to raising the stature and value of Vietnamese culture in the international arena. He is truly one of Vietnam's great cultural figures, the one who laid the foundation for the country's comprehensive development, from economics, politics to culture and society.

Therefore, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has made good use of his knowledge and skills from a literary background, a deep understanding of national traditions, and his own moral values to make correct decisions and appropriate development strategies, making an important contribution to shaping and developing the country.

The combination of literary knowledge and leadership ability has helped General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong make significant contributions to Vietnam's modern history, creating a country with the international status and prestige that is admired today.
