Previously, the opening event Kenny G Live In Vietnam in 2023 received positive feedback from the audience.

This annual event is not only held to spread the world 's top music to Vietnam but also has profound humanitarian value because all ticket sales are used for charity purposes.

Accordingly, all ticket sales from the Bond live in Vietnam program will be used to support people affected by storm number 3.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Head of the Program Steering Committee said that this is the first time the world's best string quartet has come to the Vietnamese public in a meaningful event to contribute to charity activities and promote Vietnamese tourism.

"Last year, a certain number of seats in Kenny G's show were used to sell tickets to support the charity fund of Nhan Dan Newspaper. Every year, we build hundreds of houses and open hundreds of savings accounts for people in need. This time, with Bond's performance, we hope to be able to help our compatriots affected by storm No. 3," said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong, the program's production director, also shared: "Over the past few days, our thoughts have always been with our fellow countrymen in the flood-hit areas. We want to use music to connect love and have decided to use all ticket sales to support the charity fund to support our fellow countrymen affected by storm No. 3."

It is known that in the music night on October 5, Bond will perform about 20 famous works, including the "hits" that made the group's name. Many songs will be renewed to be more lively and different.

When asked if Bond would perform any Vietnamese works, Mr. Le Quoc Minh replied that the musical works that Bond performed were all works that they had made their mark on. According to Mr. Le Quoc Minh, not only Bond but also international artists have such strict principles.

Journalist Le Quoc Minh also revealed that inviting Bond to perform in Vietnam was not easy. Besides having to meet the requirements of artistic quality, accommodation, and transportation, there was also a rather special requirement.

"Bond has a requirement that if you meet the artist before a performance, you should not shake their hand too firmly. That is a mandatory requirement because they are afraid of affecting their hands and the quality of the performance. Artists who use their hands are usually very careful about that issue. Their requirements are very detailed.

Last time, Kenny G's musical specialty was Smooth Jazz, so we had to import a drum set and 2 mixers to serve the music night. When talking about the idea of serving the charity purpose of this program, Bond was very welcoming," said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

Bond Live in Vietnam will take place on the evening of October 5 at the My Dinh National Convention Center.

Bond is a girl group consisting of members: Tania Davis (violin), Eos Counsell (violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello).

The string quartet from London (England) is famous worldwide for its musical style that blends classical and modern, creating extremely special music.

Bond's musical style has been compared to that of famous violinist Vanessa-Mae, as they combine classical, rock, pop, latin, folk, jazz, electro with a bit of Indian and Western music styles...

Active since 2000, over the past 24 years, the four members of Bond have maintained a youthful, modern performance style and maintained their title as the most successful string quartet in world music history.

Bond is a rare international quartet with a large fan base around the world as well as in Vietnam thanks to their cheerful, easy-to-listen music and extremely engaging performance style.

To date, Bond has sold over 5 million albums worldwide and is the most successful string quartet in the history of world music. After more than 2 decades, Bond still has a huge fan base worldwide with concerts always packed with audiences because of their timeless music and style.
