With about 1 billion VND, Mr. Quat invested in renovating the garden, building a greenhouse system (iron frame structure, nylon roof), installing automatic watering machines to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and other leafy and root vegetables.

Mr. Cao Ba Quat said that by 2023, due to the expiration of the land lease contract, his family will be forced to return the garden and find a new location.

"In 2023, a household rented me a garden in Ward 10, Da Lat City with a total area of 1 hectare. Here, I invested in renovation and construction to continue with the high-tech agricultural journey," said Mr. Quat.

Currently, on an area of 1 hectare, Mr. Quat's family divides plots to grow tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, and leafy vegetables. All crops here are produced according to VietGAP standards (Vietnam Good Agricultural Practices) and partners have signed contracts to purchase the products.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, the vegetable production process of Mr. Cao Ba Quat's family is carried out in a greenhouse, so the plants are less susceptible to pests and diseases, and less affected by the weather. In particular, producers can proactively arrange the crop season and crop structure to meet market demand.

It is known that the high-tech agricultural production model of Mr. Cao Ba Quat's family creates jobs for 7 unskilled workers with a salary of 6.5-9 million VND/person/month.
