(NLDO) - From 2025, women who give birth to 2 children before the age of 35 and are permanent residents of Dong Nai province will receive a one-time support of 1 million VND.
On December 11, the People's Council of Dong Nai province passed a resolution stipulating incentive and support policies for groups and individuals who perform well in population work in the province.
From January 1, 2025, women in Dong Nai province who give birth to 2 children before the age of 35 will receive 1 million VND in support.
According to this resolution, communes, wards and towns that achieve and exceed the rate of 60% of couples of childbearing age giving birth to two children for three consecutive years will receive support of 20 million VND.
Communes, wards and towns that achieve and exceed the rate of 60% of couples of childbearing age giving birth to two children for 5 consecutive years will receive support of 40 million VND.
Women who give birth to 2 children before the age of 35 and are permanent residents of Dong Nai province will receive a one-time support of 1 million VND.
Pregnant women and newborns from poor households, near-poor households, social protection beneficiaries, and people living in ethnic minority areas are exempted from prenatal screening (prenatal screening) and newborn screening (newborn screening) fees at public health facilities in the province.
Funding sources are arranged from local budget sources according to current budget decentralization.
