A touching moment at the scholarship award ceremony of the “Tiep suc den truong” program in Quang Tri on the morning of September 28 in Dong Ha City (Quang Tri). That was the story of Nguyen Thi Tinh Thuong, a new student majoring in Japanese (Hue University of Foreign Languages), whose tuition fees were sponsored for four years of university.

Love, as the name suggests, is the result of a love story without beginning or end of a disabled mother who only wishes to have a child to accompany her in her old age.

Thuong had to work as a coffee waitress since high school to avoid dropping out of school. When she arrived in Hue to enroll in school, on the third day in Hue, Thuong started working at a household goods store by the hour to earn money to continue her studies.

On stage, the little girl told her life story. Not only was she not self-conscious, Thuong was also proud of her mother. "My mother raised me for 12 years with her crippled hands and feet. I will try to study hard to repay her" - Thuong cried.

Accordingly, in addition to this scholarship, Thuong was also given a laptop by the organizers, along with 3 other new students: Quang Anh, Ha Vi and Nguyen Cao Ngoc Ha. The program decided to award 2 special scholarships to 2 new students with the most difficult circumstances, including Ho Dinh Xuan Hieu, a student at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, and Pham Phong Thao, a student at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry.

However, after watching the story of Love, Mr. Dong Hoang Hien - Director of Binh Dien - Quang Tri Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Quang Tri Love Club - was extremely moved.

Mr. Hien has decided that his company will sponsor Thuong for all four years of college until she graduates. Mr. Hien also said that four years ago, also in the scholarship program "Tiep suc den truong" , this company sponsored two new students like that. This year, those two students have just graduated. And this story of love will continue to Tinh Thuong.

"Because of her difficult circumstances, Thuong has lacked love over the years. Now we will compensate her with a little love on her journey to university," Mr. Hien said emotionally.
